With under 50% of the female population competing in team sports, Tiffany Reyes is a rare, international anomaly. At age fourteen, the teen athlete has already played competitive
basketball for the ‘Jr. Lady Archers’ in the WNCAA 18U division, and for team Muntinlupa in the NCR Palaro 18U. Competing against adult basketball players united together in force, Tiffany’s discipline has risen to the occasion, powerfully showcasing intensity and vigor.
Named both ‘MVP’ and ‘Champion of the Young Queenz’ 3×3 14U tournament, Reyes mastery of basketball finesse turned heads, proving that her adolescent ability to compete at a high level is a legacy in the making. With dreams of one day playing in the WNBA, Tiffany is a relentless champion seeking her destiny, traveling the world to collaborate on winning strategies with basketball coaches from the limelight. Tiffany developed an interest in basketball at age three.
In her native country of The Philippines, Tiffany has written history for her peers after securing championship wins for her community. Her performance at The British School Manila Basketball Tournament 15U caught the eyes of famed coaches, turning Tiffany into an overnight
legend. In May 2024, Reyes broke historic records when she was inaugurated into the Gilas Pilipinas Women’s U18 National Team. And though the teen-athlete was the youngest player on the storied roster, her athletic performance at The SEABA Qualifiers for the FIBA U18 Women’s Asia Cup in Thailand, left jaws on the ground. Between the intense dribbling moments and extraordinary free-throws, Tiffany played a key role in securing her team’s defense, hustling and scoring at the speed of the electrifying game. During the FIBA U18 Women’s Asia Cup game against Indonesia, Reyes scored three consecutive three-pointers, finishing with 9 points leading Gilas to sweep the tournament.
With a bullet-proof family background in professional sports, Tiffany is making her international debut in competitive athletics, channeling both her father and mother’s former sportsmanship careers. While Tiffany’s father, Jayr Reyes played basketball for The University of the Philippines (UP) Fighting Maroons, her mother, Jennifer Anne Ablan-Reyes played volleyball for UP. In the Philippines, Tiffany has made a positive impact on her community by encouraging members of her age group to pursue their own outlets of passion. Drawing from her ancestry nucleus, the young prodigy is already drawing up her own blueprint of the world.
Now standing at 5’11, Tiffany has played the sport of basketball throughout each formative year of her life. Her fascinating stature has earned her comparisons to her father, particularly for her strong insider knowledge of the game of basketball. Reyes is currently training in the United States with Coach Dante Harlan, and Christopher “CT” Thomas, founder of One World Dominator.
Possessing an agility never before seen mixed with the domineering versatility of a guard, Tiffany Reyes is a walking cheat code. Her peripheral dribbling was ranked as ‘top-notch’ when scouts caught a glimpse of her weaving her talents through older aged defenders. The teen is a long-range threat with a shooting accuracy that extends well beyond the arc, making her a dangerous weapon from deeper on the court. This diverse skill set means Tiffany is not confined to one role on the court – she sees the vision of the outcome and plays for the legacy of her name.
